Our Membership Process

1. Attend services regularly

Your journey into the JTM family begins by being part of our gatherings. We invite you to join us and experience the flow  of our services:

 

  • Sunday Service – Every Sunday from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM (about 2½ hours). Each service includes vibrant worship, practical Bible teaching, a life-changing sermon, and time for prayer.

  • Visitor’s Card – If you’re new, you’ll be given a card to fill out. This helps us know you better, pray for you, and celebrate you as part of our family.

  • Fellowship & Friendship – Services are not just about worship but also about connection. Stay after and make friends—you’ll find JTM a warm and welcoming place.

  • Early Morning Prayer – Join our community prayers on Zoom every weekday morning at 6:00 AM. It’s a powerful way to start the day together.

  • Bible Study – Every other Thursday at 7:00 PM on Zoom, we gather to dive deeper into God’s Word, ask questions and grow in understanding.

 

In short, regular attendance means you won’t just visit

—you’ll start belonging, growing, and building lasting connections.

2. Join our Church WhatsApp Platform

Stay connected throughout the week by joining our

WhatsApp community.

Here you can:

  • Follow church discussions and announcements

  • Receive important updates and reminders

  • Share your thoughts and testimonies to bless others

  • Be encouraged by fellowship beyond Sunday service.

3. Meet with a member of the Pastoral 

team and fill a membership form. 

One of the important steps in becoming a member at JTM is meeting with a pastor or leader. This gives us the opportunity to:

  • Get to know you personally—your background, journey of faith, and story

  • Understand your needs, vision of life, and spiritual desires

  • Hear what aspects of your Christian life you’d like to develop further

  • Pray with you and help identify how best JTM can support your growth

  • Guide you into areas of ministry where your gifts can bless the congregation

During this process, you’ll also fill out a short membership form. This helps us keep you in prayer, connect with you more effectively, and fit you into the life and fellowship of the church family.

4. Join a Life group in the Church.

Life Groups are the heartbeat of JTM. They are small, family-like gatherings where faith becomes practical and community becomes real.

In a Life Group you will:

  • Build genuine friendships and find a place where you truly belong

  • Grow in your knowledge of God’s Word through study and discussion

  • Share your journey, pray with others, and be prayed for

  • Receive encouragement and care during life’s challenges

  • Discover ways to serve and use your gifts in a smaller, supportive setting

  • ​

Every member is encouraged to join a Life Group because this is where discipleship, fellowship, and spiritual growth happen most naturally. It’s the best way to stay connected beyond Sunday and to walk closely with others as we follow Christ together.

5. Register for Baptism (If applicable)

If you are new to the faith or simply haven't been baptized as a believer, we will schedule a baptism with you. This is in response to the commands of the scriptures for all believers. 

6. Join the Leadership team.

One of the best ways to fully enjoy fellowship and grow in discipleship at JTM is by becoming part of our Leadership Team.

Our leaders are trained and equipped to help build the ministry, fulfil its vision, and carry out its purpose. If you sense God calling you to serve in this way, here are the steps:

  • Complete a Leadership Application Form

  • Attend our Leadership Induction Courses, during which you will be taken through our Leadership and Governance policies. 

  • Receive a Leadership Certificate.

Through this process, you will be discipled, developed, and released to maximise your God-given potential. Leadership at JTM is not just about titles

— it’s about service, growth, and helping others encounter Christ.
